Australian Cyclist

Two feet and a heartbeat

I am not an Olympian – but that was always the dream. I am a former track runner who discovered the addictive sport of triathlon about two years ago. I was a sports journalist working at The Canberra Times and decided I would rather be making headlines than writing them. I entered some of the local races and before long was approached by a coach who taught me how to swim. Within one season I qualified for the World Championships as an age-group competitor. Follow me on my journey.
